Do or make? In the interview, Joyce Cooper says: groups that make a pilgrimage to our library / do a lot of work / how to do things.
There is no fast rule in English concerning the use of do and make. Often do is used for general activities and make for creating and constructing.
Here’s a list of common expressions. Complete them using do or make.
